Scott & Sean- Q&A- Ep. 9

Posted by admin under: Fitness Supplements .

(0:56)- Jaye Solorzano Hey Scott and Sean my name is JJaye and I’m a wrestler at my high school in Southern California. I was just wondering what you think i should eat to keep up my energy for practice and lifting while staying lean, getting stronger, and cutting weight at the same time. I’m 5′9 and about a 175 pounds and i want to get down to 160 any feedback would help. (6:04)-Brian DeCosta Hey Scott, I’m a college student (5′10″, 170 lbs) that is looking to cut fat and gain muscle simultaneously. I have heard a lot of talk about the importance of lifting legs, claiming that lifting legs will also help you get a bigger upper body. Is there any truth to this, and can you expand upon this claim? (10:41)-Sam Yates Scott and Sean, Obviously you see the benefits of working out everyday when you look in the mirror. But it is quite easy to forget how much this costs for an amateur like myself. I have been taking supplements such as Protein powders and creatine (which I’m slowly coming off) and have spent in excess of about 100 pounds or $170 dollars and have seen real improvements but when I think to myself it’s a lot of money for someone at 18 who is still studying. What alternatives are there? What do you look for when buying a supplement like protein powder?
