Sarah is perfect already. But banning retouching? Thats like trying to ban drugs. All you can do is try and educate individuals like u did with this video. I think with the internet people are becoming more aware of what natual beauty is.

I think sarah looks prettier before the editing, tiny flaws, wrinkles, sunspots etc arent a bad thing the are what make faces different in regards to texture. its the way we are meant to look, this video says it, no one actually looks like these celebs in the photos, because it isnt possible, not meaning to offend but i think the fact that celebs actually do this is quite shallow.

i don’t think photoshopping should be banned. That’s just plain silly. Just because a picture looks good doesn’t mean that person is perfect. Everyone should know that most celebrities do it to seem perfect. I agree however that I feel out of control sometimes trying to be this perfect person.

Honestly I believe …
Honestly I believe it is the imperfections in a person which makes them interesting. I know every scar I have has an interesting story behind it. Be it the scar from working with hot iron bread pans or one of the many sporting injuries. Our imperfections make us who we are. Those who just want an idealized version of reality should stick to virtual realities. Be who you are and be proud. Sarah you look fabulous the way you are. Why hide anything. Photoshop is useless as it hides who we are.

Wow, this is amazing! This is what I’ve been trying to say all along. People believe that celebrities all have this x-factor and we wonder what is it we have done wrong that we can’t achieve that look when in actuallity they don’t look much diff than the average gal or guy. Photoshop can’t turn a ‘nottie into a hottie’ so to speak. We all have imperfections. Every one of us. Splotches, blemishes, fat areas, skinny areas, etc, wrinkles, etc.

having a label that …
having a label that says it was retouched is not enough, becuase people can’t see how much it was changed or what the original picture looked like. it makes a lot of people assume that there has been less retouching than there has or assume the wrong kind (like assume skin was smoothed but not know the model was also made thinner etc.) we need to be able to see the real picture with our own eyes.
