Since doing the TFT …
Since doing the TFT six weeks ago, I haven’t eaten any of the crap foods (burgers, fried foods, etc) that have historically been my downfall. I used to be hungry - as in I would experience physical hunger - until I’d consumed some amount of unhealthy food; after doing TFT I no longer feel that hunger, which frees me up to select a healthier diet. It takes a little dedication to stay on track, but it’s child’s play compared to wrestling with physical hunger.

Also, a recommendation: look into quinoa as a good substitute protein source (along with turkey, chicken, and other lean meats). It’s a very high protein grain that cooks just like rice and is about as versatile. It can be a little expensive; the best price I’ve seen is $1.99 / lb at Trader Joe’s, which is not so bad. (And also, get a rice cooker; they’re cheap and they prepare quinoa perfectly.)

Excellent video. I download a great hypnosis album off iTunes called ‘control your weight’ which was amazing. I’ve tried to copy the link in but I’ve had to amend it to get it posted.

his humor is similar to my yoga teacher’s. he jokes you should do the sexual looking poses (chest on floor, butt up in air, legs spread wide) while standing in line at the grocery store.

This works for some …
This works for some people but not for the reason it is claimed. The meridian points as an explanation are just a way of marketing this. In one study, a group was given the task of tapping and the other knocking a table at specific points. The results were the same. I think it’s good that people are not ashamed of trying new things, though.

“Distraction” is …
“Distraction” is what people often say of TFT who haven’t tried it and noticed that if it works for them, it keeps on working. I do TFT professionally. If a client is distressed and I show them a pattern to remove the distress, it doesn’t come back again when they cease to be “distracted” from it. It doesn’t come back at all.

Paul McKenna has gone a long way towards making TFT accepted, and I applaud him for that. He’s also an excellent hypnotist and NLP trainer.

This sounds bogus …
This sounds bogus to me, but that’s just one girl’s opinion. I guarantee if it does work it works through the power of suggestion…which is absolutely fine! There have been cases of people being cured of cancer through the power of suggestion, but there are much easier and less silly looking ways to use this technique. At any rate, I hope it works for you guys.
