Aerobic Metabolism
Posted by admin under: Aerobics .
Cells get the energy they need to phosphorylate ATP by using three metabolic pathways- Glycolysis, Photosynthesis and Aerobic Metabolism. This video specifically focuses on the steps of Aerobic Metabolism and how it produces large amounts of ATP. The harnessing of the Chemiosmotic Gradient (the final step in Aerobic Metabolism) leads to Oxidative Phosphorylation. This video also relates the Chemoismotic Gradient to the Phospholipid Bilayer Membrane because they both allow molecules in and out to regulate communication and transport. Aerobic Metabolism is essential in the process of gaining energy for cells to phosphorylate ATP.

This tells the story clearly and ties it into the whoe question of the phospholipid bilayer membrane. Excellent job, PS SINGER and Nicolson.
